IMPLEMENTASI METODE CERTAINTY FACTOR UNTUK DIAGNOSA PENYAKIT DIARE PADA ANAK BERBASIS ANDROID

Abstrak

This research was made with the purpose of implementing Certainty Factor method in the system to diagnosing diarrhea for children by making an application using Android based programming. Almost all parents would be worried if their children suffer from an disease, especially if said disease is a common on that most children have experienced in their life. At the same time, parents are not nurses or doctors that have any knowledge of this disease, this system will act like an expert, where in this system in the symptoms for diarrhea which the writer received directly from an interview with a child specialist doctor where the writer do the research. Certainty factor method is used to count the probability of the present symptoms with regard to the natural symptoms. Result from implementing this system using Certainty Factor method for diagnose diarrhea for children shows that this method able to give a temporary result as well as probability value of appearance from all kind of disease that the children suffer, and this system also can give an early information or diagnose for the chance of disease that the children might suffer, and the diagnose fina result is still going to be a check up with the specialist doctor.
